“The Nigerian Defence Academy Assures Public Safety During Scheduled Shooting Exercise”
“The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna has issued a statement urging residents of Mando, Tsamiya, Kauya, and Afaka general areas not to be alarmed by the upcoming shooting exercise.
According to the NDA Public Relations Officer, Maj. Mohammed Maidawa, the exercise is part of the training for Army cadets of the 73rd and 74th Regular Courses. The shooting exercises are scheduled to take place from April 18 to April 20 and from April 26 to April 27.
Maj. Maidawa emphasized that the NDA has implemented all necessary safety measures to ensure the successful conduct of the exercise. However, he advised the general public to refrain from trespassing in the designated areas throughout the duration of the exercise.
The statement aims to reassure residents and stakeholders of the NDA’s commitment to public safety while conducting essential training activities.”
