God told me Tinubu will spend 8 years in office – Umahi

During an interview on Channels TV’s Sunday Politics program, the Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, shared that he had received a divine revelation from God indicating that President Bola Tinubu would serve two terms in office, totaling eight years. Umahi attributed Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 election to divine ordination.

Umahi’s remarks came in response to questions regarding the completion deadline for the Lagos-Calabar coastal road project. He detailed the project’s scope, which includes a 700km, 10-lane highway with provisions for rail lines in the middle, aiming to be completed within the duration of President Tinubu’s administration.

Asserting his role as both a pastor and a prophet, Umahi expressed his conviction that President Tinubu’s tenure was sanctioned by God and would span two terms. He emphasized the divine inspiration guiding President Tinubu to rectify societal issues, with the assurance that his administration would receive divine support.

Umahi also discussed progress on the repair work of the Third Mainland Bridge, stating that 99 percent of the project was completed. Additional work, such as installing solar lights and CCTV cameras, was underway to address security concerns, including illegal sand mining activities impacting the bridge’s stability. Umahi highlighted President Tinubu’s commitment to addressing such challenges, underscoring the administration’s determination to deliver on its promises.
