2,428 newly recruited narcotic officers to begin training July 27 — NDLEA

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has recently recruited 2,428 narcotic officers who are scheduled to commence their training from July 27. The list of successful candidates has been posted on the agency’s website.

Those recruited for the Narcotic Officers Basic Cadet training will undergo their training at the NDLEA Academy in Jos, while Narcotic Agents and Assistants will receive training at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) College of Peace and Disaster Management in Katsina.

All successful candidates are required to report for training at their designated centers according to their respective groupings and on the dates assigned to them.

Applicants who applied for the jobs are advised to check their names on the NDLEA’s official website: www.ndlea.gov.ng. Candidates for Basic Cadet training should start reporting from July 27, while training for Narcotic Assistants will begin in Katsina on August 12, 2023.

Successful candidates must bring their original and photocopy of credentials, National Identification Number (NIN), and print out of the NDLEA online application reference slip, among other necessary documents.

It is important to note that any candidate who fails to report by 6 pm on the designated dates will be disqualified from the training. Additionally, female candidates who are pregnant will not be allowed to join the training, and drug integrity and pregnancy tests will be conducted at various intervals during the training. Those who test positive will be immediately withdrawn from the training program.
