Pantami preaches love, support for poor Nigerians

Former Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Prof. Isa Pantami, has called upon individuals with means to extend a helping hand to the less privileged in society, aiming to improve their quality of life.

Mr. Pantami made this plea while officiating the wedding Fatiha of Muhammad Oyanki, a member representing Doma North Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, and his wife, Rukaiya Shehu, at Annur Mosque in Abuja. The former minister, who is also an Islamic cleric, presided over the marriage ceremony following the exchange of N100,000 dowry and the presentation of medical certificates.

During the event, he also encouraged Nigerians to fervently pray for divine intervention in the numerous challenges facing the nation. Mr. Pantami invoked blessings upon the newlywed couple and congratulated them, advising them to cultivate love, patience, understanding, tolerance, and other essential virtues to ensure the success of their marriage.

Expressing his gratitude to God for realizing their dream, the groom thanked all those who attended the wedding and prayed for their safe journeys to their respective destinations. Additionally, Oyanki assured his constituents of improved and high-quality representation in the state legislature.

The Deputy Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Abel Bala, led other colleagues in attending the event, which was made more lively by the performances of praise singers to entertain the guests.
