A Nigerian Army officer, Lt. Colonel Surajo Imam has broken record by becoming the first military officer to become a Professor in the history of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA)

Lt Col Abubakar Surajo Imam from the Department of Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Nigerian Army NA was an Associate Professor at Nigerian Defence Academy NDA Kaduna before bagging his PhD.

He is a lecturer and head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Nigerian Defence NDA and a proud author of many books.
